        A Virtual Tour of More Than 25 DC-Area Developments

        The real estate world in the DC region has gone largely virtual in the face of COVID-19 and regionwide stay-at-home orders. With that in mind, we decided to post a variety of virtual tours from large new developments around the region, as well as links to information about those projects, allowing readers to check out these new homes from the comfort of their home. 


        DC

        Lexicon

        Lexicon is a brand new 182-unit condominium development located in the heard of NoMa. The homes at Lexicon feature hardwood floors throughout, porcelain tile in the kitchens, baths, and foyers as well as double-pane floor-to-ceiling windows. Amenities include a 24/7 concierge, a fully-equipped business center, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a large outdoor, two-level cascading pool, a party/club room and complimentary bike storage.


        The Commodore

        The Commodore is a boutique community of 26 condominium residences in DC's 16th Street Heights neighborhood. The property will feature one- and two-bedrooms with designer finishes throughout, and is expected to deliver this spring. 


        Perla 

        Perla is a brand new condominium development at the corner of 9th and O Street NW in Shaw. The 66 residences at Perla are oversized and each features either a spacious balcony or terrace designed as an extension of the interior. The building’s Skytop Suite entertaining space has a fire pit, daybeds and offers unobstructed views of the Washington Monument and National Cathedral. 


        eNvy

        eNvy is a new 127-unit condominium development in DC's Ballpark District at 70 N Street SE (map). eNvy has a full-service concierge and a fitness center designed and programmed by FX Studios. On-site amenities also include a two-story library space, several resident lounges and a rooftop terrace featuring a kitchen with lounge seating, a dining space and a fireplace.


        The Brooks

        The Brooks is a collection of 89 one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums that will deliver in phase one of The Parks—a new community at the former site of the Walter Reed campus and the location of DC's newest Whole Foods grocery store. Many of the units feature balconies with views of 20 acres of landscaped green spaces including an Arts Park, dog park, Great Lawn.


        801N

        Sales recently began at 801N, a new 28-unit development at 801 N Street NW (map). The four-story development offers residences with high-end finishes throughout and custom community amenities. Prices are starting in the $400s.


        Peninsula88

        Peninsula 88 is the only new condo development at DC's Buzzard Point. The 110-unit building sits steps from the river's edge and Buzzard Point's many planned shops and cafes—including a farm-to-table restaurant, a plant-based food hall by James Beard award winner Spike Gjerde and a fish-themed bistro from the owners of Tony and Joe's. On-site amenities include remote concierge services, a community room, a Luxer package room system, car charging stations, refrigerated storage for food deliveries, dry cleaning services, bike storage, a dog wash area and a car wash area. 


        RIALTO

        Rialto is a 74-unit condominium currently under construction at 4th Street NE and Rhode Island Avenue NE, near the Rhode Island Avenue Metro Station. The development will include one- and two-bedroom homes, a roof deck and 3,000 square feet of ground floor retail. Rialto is set to deliver later this year.


        1745N 

        1745N is a condominium and townhome development that blends historic and modern architecture on a tree-lined street in Dupont Circle. Its Historic Row townhomes and Modern Flats condominiums, which are united by a courtyard, feature open-concept floor plans and elegant modern features, range in sizes from one to two bedrooms. 


        Buchanan Park

        Buchanan Park is a community of 31 high-end townhomes located at the intersection of 13th and D Streets Southeast on Capitol Hill. The development incorporates its namesake, the 1895 Buchanan School building, as an architectural centerpiece and features generously landscaped spaces including a central green, multiple intimate outdoor gathering areas and a series of pedestrian walkways. Homes feature private parking, terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows. Only a couple Buchanan Park townhomes remain on the market.


        Chapman Stables

        Chapman Stables is comprised of two industrial-style properties with 114 homes and ground floor retail space in DC's Truxton Circle neighborhood. The residences are infused with high-end architectural designs, restored historic masonry and classic finishes. The development also includes a high-end penthouse collection, called The Lineage Collection, and amenities including a front desk concierge, a reading library, a landscaped courtyard and roof terrace with clubroom. Chapman Stables is more than 80% sold and is in its final phase of sales.


        Penn Eleven

        Penn Eleven is a 34-unit, luxury Capitol Hill development erected behind the two-story historic façade of the old Frager’s Hardware store. Residences include one-bedroom plus dens, two-bedrooms, two-bedroom plus dens and three-bedroom condominiums as large as 2,200 square feet, with select homes featuring spacious wrap-around terraces. Amenities include an on-site concierge, a designer lobby with custom millwork and a large rooftop terrace with views of the Capitol. 


        The Shaw

        The Shaw, located adjacent to the Howard Theater, is a collection of 69 new condominiums. The project incorporates existing retail facades, 7,420 square feet of retail and underground parking. One bedrooms are now selling from the $400s and two bedrooms are selling from the $700s.


        Avidian

        Avidian is located in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood and features a total of 171 residences with a mix of one- and two-bedroom condominiums and townhouses, as well as two- and three-bedroom penthouses. The property features a variety of high-end amenities, including a sleek lobby with a fireplace and rooftop pool overlooking Nationals Park. Avidian is now more than 70 percent sold out. 


        Pacifica

        Pacifica, located at the heart of historic Dupont Circle, is a boutique collection of nine condominium residences with custom finishes, spacious floorplans and beautiful outdoor living spaces. 


        West Half's 1205 Collection

        1205 Collection is a high-end selection of apartments at West Half, the new, ultra-modern, luxury apartment building directly across from Nationals Park. The 1205 Collection includes a variety of oversized one-bedroom, one-bedroom loft, one-bedroom plus den, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments, many with views into Nationals Park. It also features a host of resort-style amenities, including a 24/7 concierge, a penthouse terrace lounge with ballpark views and a rooftop infinity pool, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.


        Meridian on First

        Meridian on First consists of 275 new apartments also located steps from Nationals Park. The apartments feature floor-to-ceiling windows, wood-style flooring, Nest® Programmable Thermostats and gourmet kitchens. All of the homes are open floorplan and configurations range from studios to 1,188 square foot two-bedroom, two-bath homes. Amenities includes a rooftop lounge, 24/7 concierge and fitness center and terrace, and some units feature balconies or glass-enclosed sunrooms.


        Liz

        Liz offers high-end apartments in the heart of Logan Circle. The property, designed by Selldorf Architects, combines luxury residential, office, retail and community/public art spaces. The 78 residences have beautiful finishes and hotel-like services and amenities for studios, one bedrooms and two bedrooms. Amenities include underground parking, bike storage, package lockers, a fitness center with Peloton bikes, and a 24/7 concierge. Only a few residences remain for lease. 


        Maryland


        Stonehall Bethesda

        Stonehall Bethesda, a new luxury condo development in downtown Bethesda is down to its final units. The building at the corner of Woodmont Avenue and Battery Lane has a full-service concierge available to arrange dining reservations, car service, dry cleaning and more. The upper level of Stonehall features a private club room and a rooftop terrace.


        The Haven

        The Haven features 248 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums in National Harbor, with high-end finishes, oversized windows and secure underground parking. Many of its residences also include views of the Potomac River and the Washington Monument. Amenities include a resort-style pool, professionally equipped fitness center, club room, cyber lounge, bike storage and secure parking options. The property is more than 80 percent sold.


        Travilah Station

        North Potomac's Travilah Station features 131 brand new townhomes featuring three to four bedrooms, two to four bathrooms and up to 2,400+ square feet of living space. The development is located close to Travilah Square Shopping Center and Traville Village Center and provides convenient access to major commuter routes to Washington, DC, and Baltimore. 


        Bradford's Landing

        is a community of stylish, innovative and accessible new townhomes with large, open floorplans in Silver Spring. Located off of Norbeck Road between Georgia Avenue and the ICC, in close proximity to the Glenmont Metro Station, Bradford's Landing offers a variety of community amenities like a tot lot, natural playground, dog park, walking trail and outdoor fitness stations. 


        Virginia

        Verse

        Verse is the new condominium in the heart of The Boro, a 16-acre development in Tysons Corner offering pedestrian-friendly streets, Metro access, a Showplace ICON movie theatre, a one-acre park and a variety of dining experiences. Verse offers amenities including a one-acre rooftop sky park and an expansive private terrace with dining tables and cocktail seating. The building also has a dedicated 24/7 concierge, a hospitality suite for owners’ overnight guests, a high-performance fitness studio, a pet spa, an outdoor pool and resident-only assigned parking.


        The Signet

        McLean’s only new condominium, The Signet, features state-of-the-art amenities, full service concierge and a private health club in the heart of McLean. The property has just a handful of residences remaining.


        Pierce at The Highlands

        Pierce is a brand new luxury condominium in Rosslyn’s highly anticipated community The Highlands. Featuring 104 light-filled residences, each of the one- to three-bedroom condos offer premier interior finishes, floor-to-ceiling windows and generous private balconies. Resort style amenities include a rooftop entertainment terrace and pool, and the property will include street level retail. The condominiums at Pierce are now selling.


        Arden

        Just over a mile from Tysons Corner, Arden is a new community offering 103 design-flexible, modern farmhouses set on three-fourths- to over one-acre home sites. The homes at Arden will have between four and seven bedrooms with top-of-the-line finishes, three- to five-car garages and main level master retreat options. The development is located 1.3 miles from Tysons Corner, with convenient access to Route 7, I-495, The Boro, Wolf Trap and the National Park for the Performing Arts.


        Altaire

        Altaire is a two-building residential complex located in Crystal City. The apartment project, designed by SK&I Design Group, features studios, one, two and three bedrooms with high-end finishes and luxury amenities.


        Coming Soon

        1625 Eckington

        1625 Eckington, located in the heart of Eckington at the Eckington Yards development, will feature 179 one- and two-bedroom condominium residences and luxury amenities. The property will be anchored by a woonerf-style shared street that opens up a mix of retail including Brooklyn Boulders and Union Kitchen. Sales begin this spring and delivery is scheduled for later this year.


        Blackbird

        Blackbird is a seven story, 167-unit apartment project that will deliver this year near the Potomac Avenue Metro. It will include 23,500 square feet of retail, including The Roost, a food hall by Neighborhood Restaurant Group. Move-ins will begin later this spring.


        TRIBECA

        TRIBECA, located about one block from the NoMa Metro Station, will features 99 one- and two-bedroom condominiums inspired by the New York City neighborhood of the same name. Most of the units at TRIBECA will have balconies, and some of the units on the top floor will have private rooftop terraces. Amenities include a gym, co-working space, front desk concierge and a roof deck. Sales and delivery are expected for later this year.


        Venue

        Venue is a new development in Old Town Alexandria that offers both luxury condominiums and townhomes close to MetroStage and a short drive from the new Amazon headquarters at National Landing. Condominiums feature open floor plans ranging in size from 500 to 2,300 square feet, and amenities include a riverview penthouse, outdoor terrace and state-of-the-art fitness center. Townhomes feature four bedrooms, in-home elevators, private rooftop terraces and two-car garages.
